The Entitlement Cycle Time Analysis Workbooks enable Process Engineers and Managers to determine what cycle times are achievable in their areas, considering process mix and volume, tools released for each recipe, actual process times, and statistics on process and equipment trouble. Workbooks are automatically generated from manufacturing and engineering databases and refreshed with the latest statistics. The Engineer or Manager can easily quantify the expected cycle time change from a proposed change to process specifications or recipes, number of qualified tools for a given recipe, equipment availability, tool count, allowed batch size, etc.
At a higher level the Workbooks for all manufacturing areas may be linked and automated planning carried out to determine the least cost tool set to achieve a targeted entitlement cycle time.
